{ Electrolyte Elixir }

After a couple days of the stomach flu, I needed a reboot! Of course people recommend Gatorade and Pedialyte to rehydrate and boost your electrolytes. Instead of indulging in all that extra sugar, I decided to make my own electrolyte elixir! Here’s my recipe for an easy homemade electrolyte drink!

{ ingredients } 

  • 1/2 cup orange juice (fresh squeezed is best)
  •  1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed is best) 
  • 2 cups of filtered water or coconut water
  • 2 Tbs. raw honey 
  • Dash of pink Himalayan sea salt

{ directions } 

  1. Add juices, honey and salt to a jar or container. Shake/stir until combined. 
  2. Fill the rest of the jar with water or coconut water (I did a cup of coconut milk and filled the rest of the jar with ice). 
  3. Shake until honey is dissolved. Chill or enjoy immediately! 

Easily make a double or triple batch in a larger container or pitcher!
