{ Black Bean Brownies }

Black bean brownies! WHAT?!?

This recipe was passed to me from a friend. I didn’t believe they could be this good. This 3 ingredient recipe is too yummy not to share!

Here is a recipe for quick and easy protein-packed vegan brownies (if you use a GF brownie mix, they are even gluten free). Make these black bean brownies! I dare you!

{ ingredients }

  • 1 can if black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3/4 cup of fresh coffee
  • 1 box of brownie mix (pick your favorite

{ directions } 

  1. Add black beans and coffee to your food processor or blender. Blend until VERY smooth.
  2. Blend or stir in brownie mix until mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour into prepared 9×9 pan and bake according to brownie box. (My box said to cook for 28 minutes on 375 degrees)
  4. Serve alone, topped with whipped cream, ice cream or with coconut cream (shown here)!
  5. Enjoy! Yum!

Makes 8-10 servings.
