{ Coconut, Pomegranate & Cherry Smoothie }

I am growing deeper and deeper in love with pomegranates. I’ve been craving pomegranate juice and have been eating the seeds non-stop. Here is an easy recipe for a coconut, pomegranate and cherry smoothie. It is sweet enough for a dessert, but hearty enough for a quick meal.

{ ingredients }

  • 1/4 cup frozen cherries (or any fruit you prefer)
  • 1/4 cup fruit pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder 
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut milk, unsweet 
  • 1Tbs. shredded coconut, unsweet
  • 1 Tbs. ground flax seed (OPTIONAL)
  • 1 Tbs. chia seed (OPTIONAL)

{ directions }

  1. Blend all until smooth.
  2. Enjoy! Yum!

Makes about 1 serving. I topped with a bit of Muma Raw Core Love for extra fiber.
