{ Pitcher O’ Mojitos }

Summer to me is sunshine, patios, friends & MOJITOS! My mom is always looking for the perfect mojito recipe. This summer, she passed me this amazing recipe for a pitcher of mojitos. The secret to it’s goodness….lime AND lemon juice and spiced rum! It is girly and light enough for all the ladies and strong enough for all the guys. It’s weekend! Invite some friends over, sit out on the patio and make a pitcher…or two! Cheers!

{ ingredients }

  • 1 bunch fresh mint, cleaned
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 lemons, juiced
  • 4 limes, juiced
  • 1 (750 ml bottle) Caption Morgan’s Spiced Rum (the brown stuff – trust me!)
  • 1 liter club soda

{ directions }

  1. Using a drink container or large pitcher, add sugar, lemon and lime juice and mint. Muddle and mix until well combined. Stir in rum and club soda.
  2. Add ice to the pitcher if you would like.
  3. Serve over ice.

Makes one pitcher, but you may want to make two! Based off this recipe!
