{ Blueberry Blast Smoothie [BOWL] }

I am a smoothie lover! Here’s a recipe for a blueberry blast smoothie that you can drink on it’s own or make a smoothie bowl (my new FAVORITE way to enjoy a smoothie)! 

{ ingredients }

  • 1/2 cup fresh kale
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 
  • 1 Tbs. agave
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut milk, unsweet 
  • 1 Tbs. ground flax seed
  • 1 Tbs. chia seed

{ directions }

  1. Blend all smoothie ingredients until smooth.
  2. Drink on it’s own or build your perfect smoothie bowl!
  3. Enjoy! Yum!

Makes about 1 serving. 

What makes the perfect smoothie bowl is a great smoothie recipe, fresh fruit, and some sort of crunch (cereal, oats, mulberries, nuts, etc.). In this bowl, I added fresh blueberries, strawberries, Kashi Crunch cereal and topped with flax and chia seeds! I’ve seen people add chia pudding! So good! Play around and find your favorite smoothie recipe and combination or try a few of my favorites: Raspberry Mint, Green and Chocolate Raspberry!
