{ Black Bean Burger }

 

Although this is my favorite veggie burger of all time, my husband also makes the BEST black bean burgers! I thought I’d share his recipe with you all.

{ ingredients }

  • 1 15 oz. can of black beans, drained
  • 1/2 red onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 jalapeño, finely diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • Dash worcestershire sauce (there’s a vegetarian version)
  • 1 Tbs. fresh cilantro
  • Salt & pepper to taste

 { directions }

  1. Mash beans in a medium bowl. once most if beans are mashed, add in all other ingredients and stir until evenly combined.
  2. Using your hands, form patties and cook on grill, griddle or skillet until lightly browned and crispy on both sides. Serve on a toasted bun or on their own.
  3. Enjoy! Yum!

Makes about 4 servings. These are also great leftover.
