{ The BEST Guacamole }

I know everyone thinks their guacamole is the best…and I am no different. Guac is a staple in my house and I stand behind my fresh and simple recipe! Make for yourself or make for a party! I promise, you will make it again.

{ ingredients }

  • 4 ripe avocados, halved, seeded and peeled
  • 1 fresh lime, juiced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed and chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 small habanero or jalapeno, finely diced (optional to taste)
  • 1 cup of tomatoes {I prefer a mix of cherry/grape and golden sweet cherry (yellow)}, halved
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • dash of cumin
  • Small handful of fresh chopped cilantro

{ directions }

  1. In large bowl, mash avocados roughly with most of the lime juice. I use two large forks or a potato masher.
  2. Stir in garlic, onion, pepper, tomatoes, salt, cumin and cilantro until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Taste and add more salt if needed.
  4. Finish with remaining lime juice.
  5. Enjoy! Yum!

{ Additional Add-Ins }

  • Diced green onions
  • More fresh diced jalapeno for additional spice
  • Fresh corn from the cob (or grilled corn removed from the cob)

Makes about 8 servings, but guacamole always disappears quickly at a party! I’ve been known to double the recipe.

Serve with your favorite chips. Mine are Garden of Eatin’ Red Hot Blues!
